Who is Snakesmum?

Garnet wants us to talk about ourselves and our business, so here goes.

As a retiree, I have as much time as I want to give myself to play around on

the internet.

Did I say "play around"?    That's not really right, because a lot of my time is

taken up with promoting my online business, Online Business Alliance.

I've been with them for while now, and am still working on building a

membership in my downline.

As you'll probably all know, this takes more time than many gurus would like

you to think, so although I've made a (very) small profit to date, it's nothing

like we're all lead to believe by some online promotions.

OBA's Admin/CEO, however, has never said it's easy or fast to build a business

online.    On the contrary, he says it will take months, if not years, to get to

the point where your business is self- sustaining.

That's where most of us fail online, isn't it?   Lack of focus and patience to

stick with one business until it's really going strong.

Other than my business, I like gardening, reading, and my pets.  Which

reminds me, I've got to move some pythons from small cages into a large

one, so I'd better finish up here, and get on with it!

Hi Jean,

Thanks for posting!

There's nothing wrong with playing around. In fact I consider everything I do online 'playing around' compared to my day job!(most of it's too fun to me to be considered work) This doesn't mean i am not serious about what I do by any means, quite the opposite. What I have learned is not to panic, take my time and do the nessecary things to get it right from the start. Hope this makes sense...

All the best with your biz!

Certainly does make sense, Garnet! I call just about everything I do on
the PC "Playing around" because I usually enjoy it so much.
It's a recreational thing, which could also, one day, make me some cash. :-)

I like writing too, when I'm in the mood..........

I hate snakes too. Although I do have a big boa wrapped around my neck once. Sends shivers down my spine just thinking about it.

A few shots?!?!? Better just give me the bottle!

But honestly Jean I must say you're a better woman than me because the only snakes I'll have anything to do with have been turned into useful objects such as shoes!

Don't worry Guys, I understand not everyone can like snakes - I have problems with
earwigs, believe me! And I don't like monkeys much either.
Give me a cat any day, or even my chickens.

Rum? Rum originated in Granada (Check it out of Wikipedia) where I LIVE!!

The moors brought sugar cane to Spain and then when the Catholic Kings took over their kingdom, they started fermenting it and making alcohol out of it.. Then when the spanish explorers got started they took their cane to the west indies and south america where the best rum is made (apart from a very small factory locall to me that makes a rum that knocks spots off all the better known brands!! Ron Palido! Bravo!)

I'll forgive you the snakes, jean, as you brought the rum!

Mmmmm, Rum - haven't had any for a while, but used to like
the overproof Navy type. Way back in another life. :-)

Give Wendy and Cheryl a few more shots, and they may even
stroke a snake.
