My Favourite Music

Good and Bad Music

As noted in the group intro, there are only two kinds of music, good and bad.
However, which is 'good' and which is 'bad'?

We can only judge for ourselves, not for others, as our perceptions are uniquely
our own.

I like some rap, some heavy metal, some rock, some classical, and some of just
about everything.   Although I have to admit that I can't take Chinese opera  - it
just sounds a-tonal to me.

Liking some of many types of music doesn't mean that I like everything in that
genre, however - I don't!

I like Fairuz, who sings in Arabic, and I also like Ravi Shankar, but not all Indian
music, for example.    (I do have very eclectic tastes!)

Anyway, that's a little insight into my tastes in music.   Not everyones, but hey,
we're all different, aren't we?

heheheh..bad music is that stuff that's really draggy and sappy. It's gotta have some soul man...some _alls, some edge! Boy bands=BAD MUSIC. Factory massed produced bands like the spice girls=BAAD MUSIC! Dull unoriginal trash that is merely trying to corner a market=THE WORST MUSIC POSSIBLE!!

MUSIC ACTUALLY WRITTEN AND PRODUCED BY AN INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP WHO HAS SKILL AND A TRUE PASSION=ONE OF THE HIGHEST FORMS OF ART POSSIBLE!!!!!!

There you have it in a nutshell, Garnet, skill and true passion!
The passion comes through in the music, doesn't it? :-)

Agree with you completely, snakesmum.
You can only judge for yourself. So, the music taste is a kind of personal, subjective point of view.
