HI Cheryl!

I have several programs that I market.

1. Programs for earning as well as networking online ...which would include
APSense, FriendsWin, RFN, Adlandpro, DirectMatches, and many of
the others. This is a broad brush affect to cover the canvas with such
variety but it is because I found it easier to bring in sign ups for Social
Networks than for any particular program.

2. Programs that help others market their programs.

3. any affiliate program that I like and feel is of quality that I can add to
a website or blog of mine...

Is that nutshelly enough! LOL...

yes, in a nutshell that's what I've been doing!

Now that I've stated what I do in a nutshell.... some might ask....where has
that gotten you?

Not as far along as I might like.

why not?

Because my adventure online with marketing came about in a rather
odd manner. Like many of us, I new NOTHING about internet marketing.

Who remembers how Sgt Schultz in the old tv show about Hogan's Hero's would say "Nothing" that
he knows "nothing" when Hogan and his co-pow's were up to shenanigans?

not unlike that.... I knew nothing but I new something was going on!

It's that "somethings going on" that is what many of us are learning about ~~~ and all the how to downloadable pdf'(s) and newsletters are teaching, telling, drilling into us. Do you get it yet? NOPE.... what am I missing? That's why I stayed with it.... what am I missing? what does someone need to know in a nutshell... to use Cheryl's good word...to earn online in a fairly quick if not expedient manner?

why do some seem to do this and others don't?

Is it your program?
your marketing methods?
your product?
your prices?
the colors on your website?
having enough time?
what to do with your time even if you have 24/seven!???

So that's some of the reason's I've reached the point where I am seriously looking into When and how to make changes to your overall business online...

Originally I was... once upon a time... as some may know (or not) BethsVemma I love the Vemma nutritional supplement and would still be promoting it if I'd been able to get more than a couple of regular drinkers .... it is an awesome nutritional supplement. It costs more than I can afford at this time so there went myu website! LOL... So, then I joined FSC or the FreeStoreClub at the same time I was still with Vemma... and did good there for awhile....that's when I learned that downlines come and go! hmmmm....

Being at Adlandpro and just beginning to see a bit of what was online marketing....I saw that FREE or Low Cost was good! I joined a downline builder for several programs that I still belong to because it promotes both ADlandpro and DirectMatches for me...and there's other resources for advertising some free most not.... but it is a list builder for me (((oops... did I just give away a secret? a trade secret?) Contacts come my way... those new or interested in this online marketing stuff.... and sometime before then I liked the BV letters so it dawned on me to be BethsVentures....

There's a humor to that ...that I've tried to articulate.... beings how I'm not a marketing sort of personality!

I promote Free or Low Cost biz ops and advertising solutions. BethsVentures ....that's where I'm at...

FREE being the key. Is is possible to become an earner by taking the FREE route?

So I would like to open this up to a discussion of FREE resources that
everybody can suggest if it's ok with Cheryl as well as asking questions...

Free resources sometimes have your affiliate number with it in the rare occurence that someone upgrades to a paying feature...

some of mine are FAD TAD (i don't use that as much)
being FreeAdDepot Jane Mark is one of the owners and she's out of
New York and her partner is downunder in Aussieland! if I recall correctly... but they have some of the most encouraging and supportive programs you can use for adverts etc...building lists and much more...

Thea here at APSense has a wealth of resources for the online marketer as well as for anyone needing p motivational encouragement? there's no doubt a better way to say this...

that is the 'market' that i feel is so powerful in an enlightened way! LOL...

So... I gleaned what I could (which is a lot) from many great bloggers
here at APSense... but it was months before i actually got to their websites
to see about it and possibly sign up... i just genuinely feel that if there were a few words or a couple more embedded links in a blog article or piece that it goes a long way for helping the average reader who is new to online ....overwhelmed by all there is and needs direction...

That overwhelmed by all there is and quite a bit of anxiety or tension about what you are doing online can lead to overlooking what is right in front of you!

It takes time to feel comfortable about being out there online... your name, face.... all the questions that run through your mind about is this what I should be doing....

I am an online marketer. That's my niche for now. it seems odd. Some say Beth what do you do. This is it. it is a long term approach with multiple programs that I truly believe will pay off in the long run!

I would love to have a singular program like Cheryl's and be helpful with legal stuff support and getting people to be protected and know their rights.... or any other singular program... but I either didn't find one early on... or I'm on to something here...

If others want to contribute with helpful links in this thread go for it. We are talking about online marketing so in this case it would be part of the discussion.

I was lucky in finding my program because it fit naturally with what i did for a job (oops I have come to really hate the J-word) For others it's an odd fit. I've found that is the secret. Whatever you do as your own business must fit you. It seems you've found what fits "Beth"!

Yes, that's it Cheryl, your program must fit... that's why on one of my
websites I wrote that not every opportunity works for just anyone... I'd also found out that joining the series or several opportunities that i have joined that it helped me to learn more
about what it is that I am doing. Online marketing has so many words, definitions, the learning involved that I've written about before ... takes up so much time and it is really a testament to each of us that we have gotten as far as we all have in our online endeavors.

Did you know that to spell testament or testiment is both correct in almost all situations?
I thought there must be a way to remember which way applies for what...
I was thinking that testament with the a would be easy to remember for
testament/paper like the New Testament etc... and that you testify in court is with an i ... so I looked to see what the differences are and from what I saw it is interchangeable... I may have to go look at this again... I ended up reading an article from 1902 published in the NYTimes by a German Professor on learning English for the immigrant...and also why he thought american school children didn't do as well as German kids! LOL....

Hi Cheryl...

I'd answered this earlier and entered it and I guess it didn't 'take'...

so here's the question you asked (again!) do you use your social sites for income or do you use them as a tool for other business ventures?

answer: BOTH!

I'm working towards any of the several social sites being income
streams (as one has) but I don't consider any one online business as
an affiliate marketer being a way to have a living income. So that is
why I have so many.... there are ones that are showing some promise
and I'm learning better about how to work those programs to increase
downlines and to help my sign ons with their promotions...

I'm cultivating several in hopes they all will become significant
in the long term as a stream of income and for promoting my other online
opportunities...

It's been suggested to me that this isn't a way to go with my marketing! With
what I'm doing online... but that is where I'm at and having just put out a press release about one of the social sites I'm active in as an ad... it seems to be the way I'm going with it for now!

I'll be sending out a press release for a friend's social site in a month or so s soon as that is in pre-launch and I make sure I'm all signed up with the programs....

Then I'll start to see where I'm at ~ at that point!

so....BOTH is what Social networking sites is all about for many of us!

That's ShineYourStar! my apologies, Marie or Maria! LOL... that i can never
remember either! .... I'm terrible bad at names...

ShineYourLight is also a .ning website or social site....

that's something you could also do is create on of your own social sites
for free and that seems to connect you with lots of people online that
you don't always come across here at APSense... I've been holding back on doing that because I just didn't want to call it BethsVentures!!! LOL.... Anyone want to suggest a
new name for what I do?

Hi everyone...

I've been trying to get here all day and check for any questions....and I was very relieved that
there aren't any...

But I did spend some time onsite going thru my contacts and downline and seeing who is
doing what online here and realize that I haven't been keeping up here as much as I should!

that's got to be a new years resolution to begin today!
