As a business owner, you are confronted with rejection if people tell you "no" when you present your product or service to them; when you make a phone call to a prospect on your list and they either hang up on you or screen your call; or when you e-mail your marketing message to your prospect list and it's blocked by their SPAM filter.

How do you stay motivated and keep going in your business when you face all these obstacles?

I posed this question to members of my Austin, Texas Meetup at www.meetup.com/bossfree recently. The answers I received were quite interesting and revealing. One person said that the prospect of making a lot of money in her business keeps her motivated. Another said when obstacles present themselves, she stays motivated by listening to motivational tapes and CDs. Other answers given ranged from having a compelling reason (or a strong "why") to reading self-help books, developing self-confidence and belief, and steeling their resolve by welcoming rejection.

I want to pose this same question to you, my fellow blog readers. How do you stay motivated in your business despite all the negativity and obstacles that you face everyday?
