Getting referrals, or a downline, is essential to many money-making programs online.
Often times if you are struggling to get people in your downline, there are a few great tips that should increase your success.

Starting a downline exchange program can often help. This is where you join someone's program in exchange for them joining one of yours. It's like a trade. This is very effective because you are in their downline, so they want you to help them earn money, and they are also in your downline, so you want them to continue to be active and earn you money as well. It's like doing a favor for one another.

Also, there are several downline exchange programs, such as GetRef.com, but I have not had much success in getting ACTIVE referrals there. I think it's a waste of time.

What I like to do is create my own page with all my programs and offer some small incentive if someone joins. I promote my page in free traffic exchanges.
