If I am angry I try to express it immediately. Then I ignore the person and try not to talk to anymore.

Tell yourself to calm down. Slowly repeat gentle phrases to yourself like “take it easy,” “cool off,” or whatever works for you. Force yourself to leave the situation. Take a time out, walk away, and avoid coming back too soon.

The best thing is to remove yourself from that person until you have had time to relax. UNLESS it would actually help to tell them how you feel and that might have a positive result in the future. But speaking out in anger rarely does anyone any good

Do deep breathing exercises, envision the perfect scene or repeat a soothing phrase for example "Take it easy." You could also play music or write a notepad or try yoga poseswhatever is needed to promote relaxation.

Physical activity can help reduce stress that can cause you to become angry. If you feel your anger escalating, go for a brisk walk or run. Or spend some time doing other enjoyable physical activities.
