Review on Xanthan Gum
Xanthan gum,E415,CAS no11138-66-2, HS code 130239 is a polysaccharide used as a food additive and rheology modifier, commonly used as a food thickening agent (in salad dressings, for example) and a stabilizer (in cosmetic products, for example, to prevent ingredients from separating). It is a polysaccharide manufactured through fermentation, available as cream white powder. Xanthan gum is a high perfermance thickener as the viscosity of 1% is about 100 times stronger than 1% gelatin solution. With these outstanding properties it is widely used as thickening agent and texture stabilizer in food, beverage and various other industries. - See more at: http://www.yameiaspartame.com/products/xanthan-gumRelated to Xanthan Gum
