Today I went to the Dr to get the results of my blood test. Didn't think it was going to be fantastically good - and it wasn't.

Although I can't complain, as everything was fine except for the cholesterol level,
which was 6.8. Don't know what that is in US figures, but here they like you to have
4.5. Even 5 is considered high.

Gave been given 6 months to get it down by diet, so will try to be a good girl and
cut out the cakes, biscuits (cookies) etc., and try to eat more fruit, vegeatables, and
nuts.

Have never been one for fatty foods, so the culprits have got to be the cakes. Having a
sweet tooth is obviously not good for you, and it's going to be hard giving up these
things.

Anyone got any tips for getting healthy? Hints on how to lower cholesterol?
Motivational help for getting more excercise - instead of using fingers only on
the keyboard? :-)

Garlic and lemon are supposed to be good at reducing cholesterol - has anyone
ever managed to get their levels down with homeopathic/natural remedies?
I've got mine down a little before with diet, but will have to do better, so send
in your tips and hints - everything considered. :-)
