WORK FULL TIME AND STUDY FULL TIME

by Steven S. App critic and consultant
Since the 2008 financial crisis, the cost of living has gone up, wages have stagnated and unless you have a college degree you run the risk of being stuck in a cycle of debt. One of the main problems to overcome is the cost studying as it is now the most expensive it has been in history. Students are getting into thousands of dollars into debt and many will struggle to pay it all back. If you do not want to put yourself in this tricky situation that millions find themselves the best option is to work full-time while studying simultaneously. This is a mammoth task to undertake which is why I have written this article to help people to be able to achieve it.

#1: READING SPEED

Most courses require a great amount of reading and it can be difficult to find the time to fit it all in. By improving the speed of your reading it will help you get through the mountain of books faster and give you more time to correctly prepare.

#2: VACATION BREAKS

To achieve anything worthwhile requires sacrifice and when wanting to work alongside getting a further education means you're going to have to sacrifice a lot to accomplish it. Giving up your vacation time at work so that you can take time off to study will be something you are going to have to do. Taking holidays when tests are due is the best time and it is vital that you plan these breaks well in advance so that your boss can arrange cover for when you are on vacation.

#3: WORK COMMUTE

If you have to commute to work it can be a great time to fit in your studying. If you drive consider taking the train or bus so that you can focus on your studying. If you walk to work consider downloading audio textbook version to listen to or dictated notes so that you can learn on the move.To save time look for small things that can increase your production. Things that will shave off 5-6 minutes from your day will add up. As simple as using a portable means of brewing coffee can save you precious time when commuting.

#4: TIME MANAGEMENT

The key aspect of your life you will need to manage correctly is your time and every second count. Make sure you always have handy items that you can use to study such as flashcards whenever you have a free moment. Make sure you are well equipped with a functional office space. A place where you can focus and make best use of your time by only working in your designated work space. Office furniture specialists at Calibre when asked have also agreed with this view.

#5: PERSONAL SACRIFICE

To achieve great things means that you must give it your all and the only way to do this is by making personal sacrifices. Once you have set your goals to decide what you are willing to give up to do it. This can be one of the most challenging things to do so it is important that you understand why you are doing it and what it will help you achieve once complete.

#6: ADVANCED PLANNING

When you work for a company you are required to give advanced notice of any time off that you require. If you do not book weeks or sometimes months in advance for set vacation time it may mean that you get refused. This is why careful advance planning is needed to make sure that nothing goes wrong that could cost you passing your course.

#7: ONLINE COURSES

The best and most common way to be able to make working and studying at the same time is by taking online courses. They are becoming vastly popular due to the flexibility along with cost saving. All the top colleges now offer online courses so you can now do the same results without having to leave your home.

CONCLUSION

It is going to be one of the most difficult challenges to achieve but it will be the most rewarding and show you anything is possible if you set your mind to it. Some of the greatest leaders have used their hard work and study together as a key investment into future success. With the progression of online courses and teaching, it is the best route to achieve a higher education if you wish to work and study.
