Dressing in a right manner makes you look good and a confident person. Many ladies fashion options are open to you but you have to make the right choice or else you tend to look older than your age. Here are 12 women’s fashion mistakes that make you look older than your age to be avoided.

 

Wearing oversized clothes

 

●      Overall appearance of women wearing too loose or poor fitted clothes is unattractive and old fashioned.

●      You may feel comfortable in those clothes but the fact is that your appearance looks dull and tired and overweight.

 

Wearing tight clothes

 

●      Wearing tight clothes gives a very bad appearance. It is as though your extra weight is peeping outside and you appear fatter. Wear clothes that fit you and give a decent outlook.

 

Wearing too long skirts

 

●       Long women's skirts are old fashioned and unattractive. The length should be only up to the slimmest area near the knee. Wearing a midi skirt is also a better option if it suits you.

 

Wearing too stretchable jeans

 

●      Anyone can wear stretchable jeans. But you should wear jeans that fit you and you are comfortable with. The jeans must not be stretched too much that after wearing the appearance will be very saggy.

 

Wearing jersey fabric clothes

 

●      Jersey fabric sticks to the body so though it is comfortable it does not give a good shape. Double knitted jersey is little stretchable and comfortable.

 

Baggy clothes

 

●      Oversized clothes will make you look overweight as well older than your age. Avoid wearing loose clothes or else you will lose your natural shape.

 

Avoid too much bling

 

●      Glittery dress, accessories and footwear altogether is a bad combination. It is not classy and draws attention in negative way.

 

No to monochromatic styling

 

●      Use footwear and accessories that are in contrast colour as compared to your attire. Otherwise your appearance will be funny and strange.

 

 Too much heels

 

●      Being uncomfortable will make you look older or as if you're trying too hard to appear youthful. Falling can be an embarrassment too.

 

 Avoid T-shirts with over-smart quotes

 

●      T shirts with tongue-in-cheek one liner are suitable for youngsters. It must be consciously avoided if you are not a teenager.

 

 

A combination of printed skirt/pant with same printed blouse or vice-versa

 

●      Don't blindly follow the latest fashion for women. Combining floral top with a solid color bottom wear looks great. Same print for both top and bottom will draw negative reviews.

 

Over accessorizing can make you look disastrous

 

Match pearl embellishments on your attire with subtle pearl jewelry. Same goes with other elements. That’ll make you look elegant. A mis-match of pearl jewelry on diamond studded top should be avoided.
