  • History of the gardens: The hanging garden of Mumbai was first built in 1881 which was designed by Ulhas Ghapokar. There are theories that the gardens were built on one of the main water reservoirs of Bombay to protect it from getting polluted.


  • Boot house: Inside the hanging garden one of the main attraction is the Boot House of Old Woman Shoe, which is basically a giant structure of boot made out of stone and brick. Children are allowed to climb up the house and play.
