If you are looking to match up with jewellery trends then ought to have a touch of rose gold. From smartphones to designer dresses this color can be seen everywhere. So are the rose gold beads. Let’s look into its significance starting with beads.

Origin of Beads

The earliest form of beads seen was shelled about a hundred and thousand years ago.

As early as ancient times, beads have several applications. There has been evidence of its utilization in decor items, jewelry, currency, arithmetic tools, prayers beads, healing beads, and more. There is a therapeutic notion attached with beads and hence, they continue to be used in hospitals for treating children with critical conditions.

Beads have tiny holes so that they can be strung together and adorned on the body or stitched on the garments. The material of beads is myriad. For instance, stone, wood, glass, metal, and so on.

Precious gold

For centuries, gold has been looked upon as a precious metal i.e., is soft, ductile, and hard to mine. Its purity is measured in carats.

The purest gold is denoted as 24K, although it is not much convenient to use gold in its original form as we know it is highly ductile. Therefore, gold is mixed with other alloys for various applications. For instance, 18K gold consists of 18 parts of gold and 6 other alloys. Similarly, 14K gold consists of 14 parts of gold and 10 other metals.

Rose gold is identical to yellow gold, but it contains more copper, giving it a rosier tint. The darker the red hue, the higher the copper concentration. Most commonly 18K rose gold is sought in European countries while more of 14K rose gold is sought in the US. The difference lies in the fact that there is 75% gold and 25% other metals in 18K and approx 59% gold and 42% other metals in 14k rose gold.

Significance of Rose gold beads

Since beads and gold each have their own significance together they make wonders wherever they are applied. It’s a combination that is winning hearts. The demand for rose gold beads is always high and why not! They are just so marvelous and pleasing to the eye.

Rose gold beads come in a variety of shapes and sizes along with alternatives for gold-filled beads and gold plated beads. Even in gold filled the base is metal and in gold plated the layer of gold is applied over metal by an electroplating method.

A rose gold bead necklace not only looks gracious but is also an inexpensive piece of jewelry. Further, rose gold vermeil is even more valuable yet economic given its silver filing. They have always been used in jewellery design but today its application has extended to decor, garments, and much more.

To wrap it up, rose gold is a color that instills a sense of love and calm and thus is brilliant in the form of beads.
