What To Expect From A Trip To Dubai!

by Kunal Joshi content writing

There has been an increase of 3% in the number of international overnight visitors to Dubai in the first half of 2019. According to reports, Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the fastest growing cities outside of Asia, and the major contributor to this is international demand. Improved connectivity is also a key reason for the same, since both cities are home to hub airports catering to airlines on intercontinental routes. The following are some of the reasons behind increased demand for affordable hotels in Dubai:

1.       Rapid development: It is one of the most rapidly developing cities in the world. Following the discovery of oil in 1966 that lead to a developmental boom Dubai now proudly hosts the world’s tallest building, the second biggest mall, the most luxurious hotel, and more skyscrapers than any other city except New York and Hong Kong.

2.       Great shopping experience: It is however, quite a widespread misconception that Dubai is only for rich shoppers. No matter what your income level or budget is, you can always find something or the other in Dubai. However, do keep in mind that Dubai is not cheaper when it comes to imported high-end luxury goods due to the removal of taxes. Thanks to fluctuations in the global economy, it is always advisable to research on the particular thing you want to buy.

3.       Sand and sea: you can enjoy a wide variety of activities in the desert, including riding camels and ATVs. The beaches are excellent, and sun-lovers from all over the world are left mesmerized by them. Also, there is a surf culture in Dubai which is growing rapidly, so in the near future, you can expect to see a much more surfer-friendly Dubai.

4.       Ample diversity: known as one of the most diverse cities in the world, Dubai has tourists and expatriates flying to the city all the time. When people from any part of the world come to Dubai, they bring their culture into them. Consequently, you can also expect a wide variety of international cuisines in the premium hotels in Dubai from diverse countries such as Iran, Lebanon, India, Pakistan, Japan, France, the Philippines, etc.

5.      A travel hub for flyers: The Dubai International Airport has recently been declared the busiest airport in the world. Have a long layover in Dubai? Well, you can simply leave the airport, make a quick day trip and check out major attractions like the Burj Khalifa.
