What is Temple Jewellery Mouni Roy wore in her wedding
by Astro Ved Online Astrology ConsultationIt seems like these days, B-Town has got a season of weddings, first
Katrina and now Mouni Roy. Our favorite Mouni Roy, who amazed her audience with
her performance in the TV series Naagin produced by Ekta Kapoor, has now tied a
knot.
It was a magical experience to see the glimpse of her marriage, which is
now also running on her Insta profile. The wedding took place in Goa, and it
was a Malayali wedding where she took vows with Suraj Nambiar, a Dubai-based
entrepreneur.
Her wedding was a touch-up of freshness, and there were many dreamy
moments. However, one of the prime things that caught the attention of many is
her fashion sense and ethnic style.
Mouni Roy adorned herself with Sabyasachi bridal wear, which was
designed to satiate her traditional roots. She wore a white Kasavu sari having
red and golden borders, the origin of Kerala, South India. She paired it with a
red blouse with golden brocade work to match up the look wisely.
Then she finished the look with her Temple Jewellery that is so much in
discussion. It looked fab, and for those who are unaware, the jewelry
originated in the Chola and Pandya dynasties. In South India, it is a tradition
to wear temple jewelry, having the Gods and Goddesses embossed.
Since Mouni’s husband Suraj has his roots in Kerala, they went for a
Kerala-style wedding. The whole collection of temple jewelry includes haar and
a choker necklace with matha patti and a kamar bandh. Mouni carried everything
so well, and she enhanced her looks with an elegant bun while having the
cascading braid and added a gajra to it.
Suraj, the groom, was adorned in a beige kurta and golden booti. As
bottom wear, he draped the traditional white and gold-bordered mundu, the
popular Dhoti of Kerala.
The bride and groom wished it to be a private affair, and the event was attended by special guests like Mandira Bedi, Ekta Kapoor, and more.
