What Happens When You Quit

by Terry Warner My Leads Call Me
Probably one of the most destructive things available 24/7 is the option to quit.

I worked 45 years as a commercial refrigeration technician and have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. I am also an Ordained Minister, Dale Carnegie Graduate, published author, and an instrument rated private pilot.

All of these required diligent study and not quitting. Just before retirement I entered into the field of internet marketing. Since then, quitting, has been a daily problem with me. I don't know if it was the pressure of trying to get rich or the pressure of working an internet problem twenty four hours a day.

I would enlist or join a company, buy into their product, and then commence to tout and sell this particular product with extreme vigor and persistence.

After some months, I would have to admit defeat and move to another company.

It was at this point in my networking career that I learn to market myself and promote my product instead of someone else's dream. Slowly but surely I began to turn things around in my favor.

I also found out that selling yourself, on the internet, was the toughest of all networking that I have personally experienced.

I had to learn how to market myself so others would seek me out. About the time I would start getting ahead, some other net-worker would come along,  promising the moon, and then, almost magically, my client base was gone to bigger and better opportunities. Some were legitimate and some were not. Either way, I was always starting over.

Finally, I walked away from it all. No networking, no web site, no internet connection.

Well, I loved it and am now refreshed. The main problem is re-starting again from scratch. On the positive side, I will do what I want to do and not overload myself like before.

If you would like to know more, just drop me an email and I will gladly tell you how I make money, without spending a dime every month.

I won't promote my product or give you a link in this article. If you want to know, you need to ask.

ApSense is a great place to network without the pressure of trying to sign someone up.

Thanks everyone, Glad To Be Back!

Terry I think that is a common story for many folks who have tried to use the internet to earn additional income. Most get frustrated, overwhelmed, and disappointed that they are not having success that others are saying they are having. So most leave and give up. Good for you for getting back in and doing it on your own terms and with no self imposed pressure. Wish you the best in your new endeavors.

Thanks Chris, I appreciate the encouragement.
I am fully retired now and a lot of the problem was trying to work a 60 hour week job and do internet at the same time.
Now, because I am retired, I do what I want and then get away from the computer when I get tired.

Again Thanks,
Terry
