What are Liver Diseases?

Liver is considered as the second main organ of our body. It is located on the right side of the abdomen through the ribs. Liver helps in digesting food as well as removes the waste products of food. Apart from this, it helps in reaching the blood to other organs. However, if the liver performs these functions well, the liver remains healthy. If there is a hindrance in doing these functions, then it means that there is some kind of problem in the liver. Symptoms of liver disease do not appear quickly, but if there is any problem in the liver, do not ignore it, rather get it checked by a doctor and get it treated. This is because if liver disease is complicated, it can lead to hepatitis, inflammation of the liver, liver cancer, etc.
