Welcome Our Latest Recruit, Carly!

by Liz Seyi Digital marketing manager

Having recently introduced to you our new Chief Operating Officer, Dan Jackson, we thought that here at Aviation Recruiter TARCG, we would help you to get to know another new starter of ours – Carly, who joins our agency with her own impressive career behind her.

What’s Carly’s professional story?

Carly started her career within the health and fitness industry after graduating from the University of Exeter.

Recalling her time in the sector, Carly has commented that she “was lucky to meet people from all walks of life, which made my job very interesting... nothing can really beat the feeling of knowing that you have made a positive change to someone’s life.”

A career of service and distinction

Sadly, home commitments meant that Carly was no longer able to do the shift work required in the health industry. She took on her first job within recruitment, as a skills recruiter at Exeter College, where she enjoyed the “extremely rewarding” experiences of engaging students to secure apprenticeships within a vocation suitable to their skill set.

Thiswas followed by the opportunity to assist in setting up a new apprenticeship academy in the heart of Exeter city centre.

Proving her worth within aviation recruitment

After a temporary role at the University of Exeter assisting with the recruitment of postgraduate researchers, Carly moved onto another new challenge – this time within aviation recruitment.

It was while in this post that Carly was responsible for resourcing contractors to fulfil MRO requirements across the globe. It also allowed her to get up close and personal with the world of aviation; she has said that “in my time spent in aviation recruitment so far, I’ve had the benefit of being able to see behind the scenes in aircraft engineering.

“This has been exciting, rewarding and educational. It has included seeing aircraft being stripped and rebuilt, and has helped me to attain an understanding of different aircraft types.”

The latest chapter: joining an ascendant TARCG

Now, it’s time for Carly to take on what promises to be one of the most momentous challenges of her career yet – helping TARCG to soar as an aviation recruiter.

“I have been lucky enough to take part in many exciting adventures throughout my lifetime, and had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful people along the way. I’m now looking forward to what the next chapter has to hold at TARCG, with a team who have great aspirations and I know will go far.”

We couldn’t agree more, Carly. We also couldn’t be more delighted to welcome you as a member of our team, and wish you the very best of luck and success in your new role, for what we hope will be many years to come!
