Virginia D. Penrose Takes Readers A Journey Of Her Life Through The Hypocrites Of Hunt County

The story is set in Quinlan, Texas where Ann buys a house after losing her husband. The house she purchased is situated right across the street from Bubba and Mabel Smith who go to church along with other neighbors.
Ann’s children Elaine, Lori and Charley were not raised in the church and don’t go either. Along with this, readers also realize that Bubba and Mabel don’t like the Christians they are supposed to be. The book slowly reveals what follows next and how the opinions of many of these characters change.
Virginia D. Penrose brings many of her old characters from previous books back. For example, the character of Elaine was there in her book Did She Know Jesus?: The Tale of Two Women. These clearly show that the story she crafted is born out of her personal experience that she wants to let her readers know. The book is a brilliant effort from her part in showing the internal struggles human beings go through when it comes to their belief system.

Virginia lives in Montgomery, Alabama. She was born in Texas where she earned her BS degree in telecommunications. She has been a Christian for thirty years, and after doing all types of work in the Church, Virginia now has dedicated all her time to writing. Her first book as a writer was Did She Know Jesus?: The Tale of Two Women.
