Tribal Defi Seeking First Nation Communities Wanting Their Own Digital Economy

Earlier today, TribalDeFi announced the launch of its new digital financial services, which went live September 2, 2022. For anyone with even a passing interest in the world of digital economy with Indigenous peoples, this new development will be worth paying attention to, as it's set to shake things up.

This vision is born from a collective life way that I have been pursuing for decades. Internationally, the spirit of this vision is shared, and the innovation development team looks forward to working alongside myself in expanding services to all underbanked, unbanked, and the unbankable Indigenous around the world.

Being an Indigenous thought leader, community organizer, and business consultant for nearly 40 years, I have long advocated for revitalizing tribal economies. In so doing, I encourage technological adoption as a means to connect sources of information, capital, and international allies to cooperatively advance this goal. I am originally from the Mathias Colomb Cree Nation in Northern Manitoba, located in Pukatawagan, Manitoba. I currently live on Manitoulin Island, Wikwemikong, Ontario with my wife and grandchildren.

Having already made several notable achievements with Tribal Defi including the creation of the company offices, the MSB in Canada, and developing compliancy relationships with FINTRAC, I am leading from the front with a unifying message for shared wealth and prosperity. Prior to Triabl Defi, I was a business advisor with large institutions and businesses where I offered a window of my version of the Indigenous reality. Tribal peoples all over the world have an opportunity to transcend their economic reality into one that is compatible with their values and beliefs. With developments like ESG impact investing becoming necessities, we can see that the international financial and commercial landscape evolving.

Working with communities in various capacities as a consultant, counsellor and band manager I gained a unique grassroots perspective in the day-to-day challenges experienced by many Indigenous peoples. My thought leadership for a revitalized and renewed purpose has been evidence through my writing, advocacy work within economic development, politics, and entrepreneurship, This activity spans decades, boundaries, and demographics. I am a mentor to both youth and elders, and my various roles in community and business development service have impacted many, fostering new leaders into political office, environmental advocacy, and implementation of housing security and holistic medicines.

A natural evolution to this work, I have already begun integrating the support of the Wapiskasine nation, the Southern Cherokee Nation and Red Fire People (SCNRFP), and ally of First Nation governments and businesses. Simultaneously, I have guided Tribal Defi in developing an educational campaign to help inform both Indigenous and non-Indigenous stakeholders how the technical implementation will solve immediate, medium and long-term economic development issues while contributing to workforce development and fostering international entrepreneurialism.

Where you'll always see our competitors doing the same old banking thing, we will focus on the wealth and prosperity of Indigenous markets. We do this because we believe it is time after 280 years to open the lid of economic transcendence. Ultimately this is going to be a huge benefit to our customers because It will help them experience economic transcendence on their own terms.

TribalDeFi was formally established in the spring of 2022. It has been doing business for enough months to demonstrate a great service grounded on the latest technolgies and is aimed to create a digital economic environment on lands reserved for Indians....

Currently, the closest thing to TribalDeFi's Financial services service is traditional banking institutions, but TribalDeFi improved on this by active involvement to access capital and financial services. This alone is predicted to make TribalDeFi's Financial services more popular with customers in the Indigenous peoples space, quickly.
