Kalika Golf Links

Kalika Golf Links is by far one of the best spots to visit when you are in Ranikhet. This wonderful golf course is maintained and looked after by the Indian Army that is situated 5 km from Ranikhet towards the way to Almora via Ghingharikhal. Some of the local lovers of golf frequently visit this beautiful place, so well you may get an opportunity to play among and with the finest golfers of Ranikhet. Also, there is a Kali temple where one can pay their respects to the Goddess Kali. The place is close by to the best hotel in Ranikhet.

Chaukhutia

Chaukhutia in Uttarakhand language means the ‘four ways’ which lead out. The name is derived from the structure of the ruins from the old fort and the remnants from the Katyuri Dynasty.  By far, this is one of the best gems of the town of Ranikhet, which is not known of by most of the tourists and hence makes for a good off-beat place. You have to visit this spot to witness the rich culture and heritage of the ancient Katyuri Dynasty. Plus, your entire family may hike around this site and also explore few new things as well. The ruins also have the company of two prime temples dedicated to the incarnations of Goddess Kali and the Vaishno Devi Temples. This area also is famous for its various fishing points. Majkhali

Majkhali here is one of the finest places near Ranikhet from where one can get a scenic view of the mighty Himalayas from very close quarters. Here you can steal a good view of the Mount Trishul that is at a height of 25,500 ft. For a photographer, this place is simply too good to capture the amazing Himalayan peaks.
