What's so unique about the replica 2020 Lakers Championship Rings

With the 20/21 NBA Finals being in the books, we thought we'd take a look back at last season's magnificent championship ring, which the Los Angeles Lakers earned.

Many people are unaware that championship rings, particularly those awarded by NBA teams, are much more than valuable metals encrusted with diamonds—they are sophisticated works of modern art forged and meticulously crafted by world-class craftsmen.

There are what we term "hidden easter eggs" in every outstanding championship ring. You'd never guess there's a hidden significance behind the number of stones or even the karat of gold chosen, but you could be pleasantly surprised! These Easter eggs are only revealed to the crew, and they are so delicate that they virtually never go overlooked.

We've carefully investigated the 2020 Lakers ring, and here are our three favorite easter eggs:

The logo and stone distribution

We hinted at it earlier when we suggested that the specific number of stones may have a hidden meaning. The Lakers championship rings has elevated it to a whole new level!

With a Removable Face, the term "hidden is redefined"

When the face of the ring is removable, exposing a hidden message/s beneath it, this easter egg redefines concealed. The Lakers have adapted the same feature, first seen in the Golden State Warriors' 2018 championship ring, to provide additional 'boot room.'

In memory of the late Kobe Bryant

There is a unique snakeskin design underneath the 12 tiny jerseys under the face of the ring, paying reference to Kobe's nickname, "Black Mamba." Not just that, but Kobe's retired jerseys are emphasized in black with a gold number (rather than gold with a gold number) to represent his effect on this squad and the whole franchise.

However, replica Lakers championship rings are available online for fans to purchase.
