Tips to Growing Your Business: Weekly Tasks to Complete

by Mathew Hayden Experienced Content Writer

You have a business that has been running for some time and you feel that you are not making progress. Or maybe you started recently and are researching how to make significant steps.

Growing a business is not an easy task, and it may take years of toiling to establish and make a mark in the industry. However, sometimes it is the simple things that people overlook that will make your business a success.

Read through this article as we take you through three easy tasks which once you accomplish, you will boost your business growth. Whereas we don’t guarantee you overnight success, you will notice improvements after a month, six months, a year, and so on.

Three Tasks That Will Ensure the Success of Your Business

Running a business does not get any easier, and one can easily be overwhelmed. The best way to make notable progress would be to break things down and align priorities. This give you more focus and will help you work on the areas that need your attention the most.

Although making your company a success needs your effort, you don’t always have to put your nose to the grindstone to make your brand known. Ensure that you accomplish these three tasks each week, and after some months you will be astounded at how much you’ll have achieved.

  1. Sell

First things first; the main objective of business is to make money, right? This means that you have to make sales. Not making sales means no new clients, thus no generation of revenue. Every company has to sell on a steady basis every week. But how can you make this happen?

Giving new offers to your customers every week is one sure way of making them come back to your store. It could be one or multiple offers. This will assure you of their return and referrals to friends, which means additional sales.

  1. Serve

The second and another important thing you need to do is serve your customers. Your products should be designed to solve customers’ problems. Looking out for your customers’ best interests and helping them thrive will naturally expand your business. It is therefore important to evaluate your service to customers every single week and ask yourself what you can do to better your service during the following week.

You can hold a workshop, do a guest podcast interview, give a presentation to a group, or at an event. All these can help educate and serve your audience. We must always think of how we will serve our clients each week. Therefore we must sell, create offers, educate, and assist them in some capacity.

  1. Build

Speaking of building, what sort of asset can you develop every week? An asset in your firm is anything that generates income or improves efficiency without your involvement.

Investing in an asset is establishing leverage for yourself as a business owner. This will enable you to create an income as well as help your business become more efficient. This does not necessarily mean that you have to be physically involved.

Not being directly involved could mean employing people. It may be bringing on folks who can do the tasks you're doing now. It could be as simple as implementing standard operating procedures. When you have procedures and processes in place, your entire firm can accomplish it. So, what asset can you put in place each week?

One thing that can help you build your image is branding your products. You can design custom packaging to help customers familiarize themselves with your brand. Hire experts to complete this job for you in a professional manner.

Isn't it amazing how simple this is? Sell, serve, and build. My question to you now remains, what will you sell, serve, and build this week?
