Some companies are making themselves appear more professional, by mentioning the title “lighting designer” on their website. If you cannot find any information about a company’s use of lighting designers, do not hesitate to contact them and ask. A self proclaimed lighting designer without education can really mess up a LED solution, even if the products are great.

- Price

Price and quality still goes hand in hand – even in a saturated market. Choosing the cheapest of the cheapest company is most definitely to take a risk. If an architectural LED lighting design company has years of experience, lots of good references and educated lighting designers associated, would they do it for ridiculous bargain prices? The answer is no. Do your research and be realistic regarding the price.
