Residential & Commercial Lighting Solutions In Stockholm, Sweden

by Rune Larsen Business Owner
Understanding the different types of lighting can help you choose the right lighting solution - and that is important, as lighting affects mood, productivity and health. Especially residential and commercial lighting, places where you spend a great part of your time, needs to be just right. We have a vast experience in delivering lighting to projects like that near you in Stockholm, Sweden and here is our take on the many different types of lighting.

Residential LED Lighting

Recessed lighting

Recessed lighting is typically used for general lighting and is great for architectural lighting solutions where the general impression is key. It primarily comes in the shape of LED downlights or LED panels where the latter is a popular choice for residential and commercial lighting projects in Sweden. The whole point of recessed lighting is that the fixture itself should not take focus and simply have a clean and tidy appearance.

  • Track lighting

Track lighting is, contrary to recessed lighting, a very visible installation. But it has the benefit of being a very flexible lighting solution, making it a popular choice in both residential lighting projects and commercial lighting projects. The fixtures fitted to a track are normally LED spots, meaning it is a great source of directed light. Not only does track spots usually have flexible light columns – modern track luminaires can be replaced with each other, giving you the possibility of altering the entire lighting setup as you wish.

  • Task lighting

Task lighting comes in many shapes, but is characterised by being more bright and often also in a more neutral colour temperature than general lighting. In residential lighting projects task lighting is typically mounted in the kitchen in the shape of an under cabinet fixture, while in commercial lighting projects it is typically just a standing table lamp.

  • Natural light

People tend to forget the only source of light better than LEDs – and that is the sun. Utilizing natural light from large windows is important in both residential and commercial building projects.
