The Installation of Pneumatic Pilot Solenoid Valve

by Jeremy Liang SEO specialist
1. Pneumatic pilot solenoid valve can’t be used in occasions where there’s a risk of explosion. If the working condition requires the use of it, please choose the explosion-proof coil.
2. Before the installation of solenoid valve, the pipeline must be cleaned. It is advisable to install filters in front of sanitary valve, and steam traps on steam pipelines.
3. In case of solenoid valve failure, in order to promptly isolate the solenoid valve, and to ensure the normal operation of the system, it is best to install a bypass device.
4. During installation, the solenoid valve coil faces up and maintains its vertical position. The arrow or mark on solenoid valve should be in the same direction as the flow direction of the pipeline. It can’t be installed in places where there’s water splashing or water leakage.
5. Before installation, pay attention to the product label and carefully read the manual to determine whether the product meets the conditions of use.
6. The valve can’t be installed in the grooves of the pipeline so as to prevent steam condensate, impurities and other precipitations from impeding the action of the valve.
7. In the pipeline system, the diameter of the solenoid valve installed in the branch should be smaller than that of the main pipeline valve.
8. In the case of inadequate pipeline rigidity, it is recommended to fix the pre-valve pipeline with a bracket so as to prevent vibration of solenoid valve.
9. The working medium of solenoid valve should be clean and without particulate impurities. The dirt and filters on the surface of the solenoid valve chamber need to be regularly cleaned.
10. Pressure gauges need to be installed before and after the pipelines of solenoid valve to observe the pipeline pressure.
