The future of the construction, real estate, and even regular marketing industries may well be... qu

I hope that this article will be useful primarily for the readers who work or are interested in the roofing, real estate and architecture industries, as I have worked in those inidustries for the past five years of my professional life.
But to start with, you may possibly ask: "Yeah, but what is a 'quadcopter'?" Quadcopters are little, highly manageable flying machines (drones) on which are often set up video cameras. Those futuristic drones have many uses - the British newspaper The Guardian noted, for instance, that some researchers fly them high in the sky to monitor birds, only to see them attacked by hawks - but here I'd like to explain the many qualitities of this device in the construction and real estate industries.
First of all, you may wonder for what purposes those strange aircrafts can be used. Well, the construction industry is quite regulated (at least were I live, in Britain), and once every stage is performed (for instance, laying appropriate foundations) the workers have to make sure that it has been properly accomplished. Whilst it may appear fairly simple for small structures - such as a new house - it becomes much more strenuous when it comes to large buildings, such as a block of flats. For that purpose, flying a quadcopter over the construction site is quicker than regular techniques, and, most interesting, it records everything thanks to its camera, allowing people on the ground to have a very clear aerial insight of the entire building that is being constructed.
But camera drones are also very useful for maintaining old constructions, especially when it comes to controlling the roof condition of a house. It can thus be an asset for roofing firms: flying this machine over one's roof can be a considerably less, much safer way of inspecting a roof condition. Additionally, the pictures or recordings taken can be used to precisely explain to the customer what is wrong about their roof, where, and what is to be done.
Quadcopters are also usually popular among professionals of the real estate industry, as it allows them to publicise in an cost-effective and very unique manner large properties, thanks to an aerial video surveying of the site.
One of the greatest advantages of using quadcopters is that it is a very competitive option. Ordinarily, to record videos from the sky, one needed to wait for Google to update their Google map database (which is a slow process, not really practical when you need to shot images within a few days) or rent an helicopter, which is hugely costly for somebody like me.
Quadcopters can also produce nice aerial pictures of important events, such as massive gatherings, happy celebrations, birthdays or religious events.
To put it in a nutshell: quadcopters are really nice tools. But unfortunately, they remain largely unknown. Share this article to end that!

Some more about me: I work in the London area, in the construction industry. I have launched a company that uses quadcopters in that aim
