The best hair growth products are still far from 100% results

There has been an evident increase in efforts to understand the causes of hair loss and the cure for baldness. But gazillion dollar question why we are so concerned about the cure for baldness. But when we haven't yet translated the new scientific findings into palpable benefits, question remains are they really the best hair growth products. Well, the answer to this question is murky. There hasn't been a definite clinically defined or FDA approved treatment which claims 100% result to cure baldness.
There are quite a few shampoos to prevent hair loss, which are said to be naturally derived and are at times combined with the chemicals like minoxidil that prevent the DHT, a male sex hormone which plays a role in baldness. As of now scientifically it's not totally known how minoxidil functions. While there's still appears to be skepticism with regards to how effective the application of this chemical is, it is suggested that it retards the process of new hair loss. So it is basically prescribed or advised for individuals who are on a path to baldness and not the ones who have gone completely bald. This drug is applicable to both men and women.
There's another drug known as finasteride that is used as an ingredient in the best hair growth products. This only works for men. It said that it keeps the dihydrotestosterone (DHT), the byproduct of the male sex hormone testosterone from forming. DHT basically contracts the growth phase and expands the rest stage of hair follicles. The hair follicles are hormone sensitive. It is said that the consumption of finasteride may lead to the loss of libido for a short span of time. Specifically with regards to testosterone, in addition to the aforesaid, a treatment known as testosterone replacement is increasingly gaining currency among men. It has been suggested that this procedure may accelerate hair loss but because it hinders the breaking down of testosterone, the dosage is resultantly impacted.
Apart from the shampoo to prevent hair loss there's another treatment i.e. surgery. Thus another way to fight hair loss is to go for hair follicle translation. In this process, the hair follicles are taken from the back and sides of the head also known as the Hippocratic wreath and transplanted to the scalp. There has been a considerable evolution witnessed in this area of treatment. Despite the evolution, the success rate of the follicular unit hair transplantation majorly depends on the degree of healthy hair available for hair transplant as well as it depends on what degree the result conforms to the person's expectations.
