TCS NextStep is an online recruitment portal

by Dolphin Seo Social Enthusiast

TCS NextStep is an online recruitment portal. It is designed for students who are willing to be part of TCS. TCS has been linked to several institutes throughout India and abroad, and this portal helps candidates do everything possible, from the application to the entry letter. This is the portal where you can update your qualification, skills, etc. This is also the place where you will be presented with an online training program before your entry known as Aspire, and then you will receive your entry letter in this same portal.

TCS Recruitment process

TCS made drastic changes to its recruitment process in 2018. In 2018, TCS Wipro and the likes moved to national qualifier tests. TCS conducted the TCS Ninja National Qualifier tests and the TCS digital to recruit candidates with new-age digital skills. TCS even doubled the pay package for candidates who cleared the TCS digital recruitment process. TCS usually offers 3.3-3.6 LPA for fresher, but for TCS digital they provided 6.5 to 7.5 LPA. TCS digital was conducted in late July and TCS ninja was held in early September. TCS offered candidates a pay package of 3.36 to 3.6 LPA for the TCS Ninja role, and over 30000 candidates got through the recruitment process. The candidate who performed exceptionally well in the TCS Ninja recruitment process was offered a shot at the TCS digital role as well, immediately after the recruitment process.

How will TCS go about recruiting freshers in 2019?

TCS digital might be open for all collages this year unlike TCS digital 2018 where just the approved colleges were allowed for the TCS Digital Recruitment process. So, if you are from college or institute which isn’t approved, then you better start your preparation for the recruitment process.

TCS Nextstep is expected to roll out both their recruitment processes TCS Ninja and TCS digital to be conducted as early as July to ease the onboarding process and training process for freshers. If you are a pre-final year student moving on to your 7th semester, then this leaves you with just over three months to prepare for possibly the most awaited recruitment process of 2019.

TCS will be conducting TCS Ninja and TCS digital in 2019 to recruit 2020 pass outs. Last year TCS picked up 30000 freshers through the TCS Ninja qualifier test and barely 400 candidates. The lesser number of intakes through TCS digital were attributed to the difficulty of the coding sections of the recruitment.

TCS expected to increase the fresher intake this year by 10-20% through both TCS Ninja and TCS digital 2019. TCS might also open up the TCS Digital recruitment for unaccredited colleges that means that the competition will get much more cut-throat and the ratio of candidates getting through the recruitment process to the number of candidates applying for the recruitment process might be less than last year.

The most exciting news for the student is that the CTC is likely to have an escalation of 3.3 LPA, which was offered to students who went through the Ninja recruitment process last year. Payment packages are expected to increase significantly for both Ninja and Digital 2019. This could lead to a drastic increase in competition, as TCS will become a more lucrative career option for newbies.
