Strong shield for galvanized steel pipe

Galvanized steel pipe, coated with a thin layer of zinc, would protect the steel pipe from corrosion. With special dealing method and production process, there are three categories for it. They are Pre-painted (zinc: 60-120G/M2), Hot-dipped galvanized (zinc: 120-500G/M2) and Cold-dipped galvanized(zinc:10-50G/M2). The zinc in steel pipes would work as protector when steel pipe reacts with water or oxygen in the air. How? With the show up of zinc, it would work as shield which would slow down or inhibit the corrosion from water and air. Of course, through galvanization, a layer is added of zinc on top of the steel, and this layer acts as a shield that will allow fighting with corrosive elements to reach the steel for a longer time.
