Mould designing
The technical team of the company receives
the sample mould or 2D/3D data from the customer to know about the exact
requirements of the customer. The mould is then designed by using the data.
Advanced software such as computer-aided design helps in designing the mould.
The design is checked for any anomaly or other issues. Feasibility analysis of
the mould design is also carried out by the design engineers. After that, the
mold structure design is shown to the customer for getting approval. If the
design is approved, the company proceeds towards the production stage.
Raw material selection
The company determines the type of mold
material to be used in consultation with the customer. Different grades of
steel or aluminum are commonly used for the moulds. The kind of plastic raw
material suitable for making the part in question is also determined. Various

Moulding process
Injection moulding process is used to
manufacture the plastic mould. The
sample mould obtained by the process is subjected to trial and inspection to
look for defects and imperfections. The sample mould is then sent to the
customer for approval. Modifications to the mould are carried out if desired by
the customer. Mass production of the mould is done after the customer approves
the sample.
Shipment
The moulds are prepared for shipment. Factory
inspection of the moulds is also done prior to shipment. The moulds are finally
shipped to the customer. Feedback is sought from the customer after the project
is complete.
