How small business could benefit from affiliate marketing

by Joe Henning Your Profit Connection

Readers at APSense may think of an affiliate program as the way Clickbank and many other internet marketing systems work, but it could also work very well for many, many small, offline businesses, which is what this discussion will touch on.

Affiliate marketing
is essentially performance-based marketing, as the business rewards affiliates for the additional income, which affiliates generate through their marketing efforts. This is the first reason of why every small business should consider an affiliate marketing plan – both the business and affiliate gain at no marketing expense of the business.

The second secret is the business will only pay commission for actual orders for products that the affiliates’ customers place and if none are placed, the business lose nothing.

A third benefit for the business is that certain new products could be marketed via affiliates, which would be like testing these new products  before they become part of the normal inventory or to ‘revive’ old ones that need to be thrown out or not.

Possibilities are endless for affiliate marketing and imagine how many benefits are there for potential affiliates and small businesses which need the extra business.
