See How Astrology Relieve Itself to Its Non Believer
by Ashley M. Field Explorer And WriterI have been a student of hard science
throughout my school days. Besides studying science at college I read
extensively about Einstein , Louis Broglie , Heisenberg and Schrdinger, Pauli ,
Fermi , Bohr , Satyendra Nath Bose, George Sudarshan and I also read Freud ,
Havelock Alice, Jung and books by science journalists like Fritjof Capra and
Rupert Sheldrake. I even read books on economics and business and an assortment
of other subjects. But of these subjects and their studies disappointed me, for
none of them actually predicted the longer term. No science was hard enough
during this regard. Then in 1988, at the age of 30, I came across a book called
Linda Goodman's Sun Signs. I read it from cover to hide during a few days time
and was greatly impressed by it, such a lot that I memorized it and commenced
to ask people's Sun Signs and predicted their nature consistent with text
written within the book.
In this connection, I need to say that
my father was an astrologer of great repute with an experience of quite 65
years behind him (he was 86 then). I used to be the best critic of my father
and termed astrology as hoax and fraud. He took his criticism in his stride and
sometimes laughed away the matter. However, when he heard me speak fluently
from Linda Goodman's book, he was greatly impressed with my oratory and said
that persons like me were needed within the field. Unfortunately he died the
subsequent year, in 1989 and that I didn't get a chance to find out anything of
substance from him. After his death I inherited all his books, some rare
manuscripts were handwritten in Sanskrit. I started reading them one after the
other. In the years following his death-four to be precise-I read thoroughly,
but much of the text, especially the calculation part, wasn't well understood
by me even though I tried.
I often skipped this part of astrology
completely, because astrology was my hobby and not livelihood, as I used to be
already working in bank for a long time mainly curious about its predictive
portion. It had been somewhat half-baked approach consistent with the classical
astrologers. But I left the calculation part to computers and focused on the
predictive part. I wanted to ascertain if there was something to astrology or
it had been a fraud. I might are quite happy if it had proved to be a fraud.
One day on my thanks to a friend's new house i ended by the kerbside and asked
for directions from a bunch of boys. The boy whom I asked began to talk, but
suddenly another boy materialized out of thin air, pushed him aside, and
commenced to offer directions. "Were you born between the 21st March and
19th April," I asked him curiously but blank. "Yes, on the 9th April," said he-as
I stood away-with mouth agape. The impulsiveness of an Arian gave him away. On
another occasion a woman was describing how her father died of asystole in
Germany, while she was in India. At the top, I asked her politely whether she
was a Libran. I used to be not for, those with Sun (signification of father) in
Libra (its fall) have some deficiency from father's side.Visit WorldAstro to know more.
