Why current solutions are vulnerable

Card skimming is widespread, and the existing solutions are not effective enough to tackle it.

The UK is Europe’s card capital, with the highest number of victims (134) and the highest losses (£8.8k) per 1000 people fraud, according to the think tank SMF, who analysed European Central Bank data.

In the US, it’s estimated that 35.4% of all credit card fraud is related to counterfeit cards.
