Pune, with Pure Indulgence

by Prachi J. The Pride Group of Hotels

Maharashtra is a state of diversity. It is anyway a huge state. But it just not vast in terms of land. It is vast in terms of diversity in culture too. At one end is the city Mumbai. It is known as one of the most cosmopolitan cities of India, with the existence of Indian Film Industry and being the finance capital along with the beautiful sea by its side. Then there is another city called Nagpur, which is completely opposite to what Mumbai is. It is too well advanced with infrastructure. But the culture is pretty much subtle. Plus it has the hills as its beauty. The other very important city of Maharashtra in Pune. It has grown up into a big thing within a very small span of time.

Pune has earned quite a few nicknames. It is the “cultural capital” of Maharashtra. Many festivals relating to art, theatre and classical performing arts are very widely conducted there. The another one is “Oxford of the East”. This unique name clearly justifies Pune. This is so because Pune has nestled many reputed Institutions and IT sectors too. Students and scholars from all corners of India and abroad come to the city to get on with their higher education.

Pune is a city of the hills. It is beautiful as serene. It has been growing quite popular as tourist place too. Apart from just business hotels and budget hotels, there are many luxurious hotels too. 5-star hotels in Pune are what they are known to provide a stay with a classy luxury. The stay ends up so comfortable, that it hurts one to let go of all the high-class comfort. It is without a doubt an experience of pure indulgence.

For tourism, Pune has a long list of places to explore. The most popular of all of them is the Shanivaar Wada Palace. It is a humongous fort. It used to be the seat of the Peshwas of the Maratha Empire, for Pune was once the base for the same. The fort is not just huge, it is magnificently huge in all the terms. It was built with raw materials brought in from outside Pune. Like the Teak was brought in from the wilderness of Junnar, stones had been gotten from Chinchwad and Limestone came from the belts of Jejuri. One more interesting fact about this Fortress is, that it is haunted by an unsatisfied spirit.

To avail the accommodation with the best rooms in Pune, one should end up with the luxury hotels. They will make sure that the stay is made so memorable that one would come back to the city again and again.
