Your New York holidays would allow you to visit the Times Square, which is always on the list of attractions that many tourists visiting the city wish to explore. It instantly grabs the attention of its visitors with some giant screens and billboards. As the sun goes down and the city is lit with vibrant lights, this square comes alive with fantastic illuminations. It is also renowned for its 'ball drop' event, which takes place on the occasion of New Year's Eve at midnight. This square is always busy with crowds moving around. However, it has its own unique charm, which you'll notice when you arrive at this particular spot in New York.

If you're an art lover, you'd not like to miss visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Popularly known as 'The Met', it is one of USA's most renowned museums. Founded in 1870, it houses more than 2 million artworks in its permanent collection, which spans a period of about 5,000 years and comprises excellent works of art from ancient Egypt. It is also home to some impressive paintings and sculptures created by most of the famous European artists. You can also get to see quite a few modern masterpieces in this museum.

Don't forget to see the High Line, which is a former railway line converted into a walking trail in recent times. Upon getting here, you'll have the chance to enjoy a pleasant stroll high above the streets of this city. Today, it appears more like a linear public park with many different plants and trees that make your walk a memorable experience worth cherishing. There are several access points to High Line. This charming place in New York City gets quite crowded during the weekends, but the absence of traffic makes the surroundings relatively peaceful.
