New Application Designed To Estimate Battery Power on Apple MacBooks
by William Klein SEOFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (January 20, 2018)
– As technology progresses, so do the demands of the public. Whether it
involves mobile phones, desktop computers, palmtops or laptops, new
discoveries, and inventions are implemented in the production of more
powerful devices, which can be either handheld or portable, or both. As
such, a few giants have emerged in the field of technology. These giants
are Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, and Apple. The latter has been
known for its high-quality MacBooks, iPads, and iPhones. However,
MacBooks have taken the business and art world by storm. Their greatly
optimized hardware and superior build quality have made them a fan
favorite.
Regardless of such popularity, MacBooks seemed to have
been a disappointment in one department: battery. The REAson behind is
not because of battery quality but because people are not sure for how
long the laptop can work on the battery. After the update of the macOS
known as Sierra, the ability of the user to know the “time remaining” in
the battery panel has also been removed. “Moreover, the battery
estimation average, which can be found in the depths of the macOS, does
not take into account the sleep mode of the laptop, and is very
unreliable”, stated a developer.
“This is where our app named
BatteryTruth comes into play. The algorithm of the app is such that it
takes into consideration the varying usage of the MacBook day by day. It
also gives statistics for change in future usage or its difference from
the past usage. It will exhibit the MacBook battery life statistics if
the battery is replaced. The inaccuracy of the macOS and the
discrepancies with the prediction of the battery life of the MacBook is also displayed”, continued the developer.
When
asked about future plans, the developer said “We are trying to
constantly adjust and improve the app’s algorithm. So far, our aim is to
spread the word about the app itself.”
About BatteryTruth:
BetteryTruth
is an app used for accurately predicting the battery life of a MacBook.
Its ever-changing algorithms allow the app to learn and adjust
specifications according to the usage of the owner.
