Narayan is the space or universe married to light or energy in the form of particles or waves. Laxmi is known as light and Vishnu is space or universe. Nar means man and Ayan means god or that which is formless. Narayan means man connected to god as body and spirit (soul). If there is no space then there is no light, then the universe does not exist.

If there is nobody then there is no soul and then man ceases to exist. The body of man is known as space and the soul or Atma is the light. Because the marriage of the two produces energy, then it logical to conclude that energy which is materiality is produced by the marriage of a man to the soul. This is the same as marrying the universe to light, which in Hinduism Gods is considered to be Vishnu (mass) married to Laxmi (light) to produce the material world as we see it.
