Microsoft Authenticator App Update

by Server Consultancy Manager

Microsoft Authenticator App is a two-factor authentication app available for most mobile devices that generate random security codes used during the Two-Step Verification process. Codes are time-based and only valid for 30 seconds. Just like any other App, Microsoft Authenticator app requires an internet connection and can be used while travelling with no extra charges.

microsoft authenticatorMicrosoft Authenticator also offers cert-based verification by issuing a trusted certificate on a device. This will allow a business to know that the request for the sign-in is coming from a reliable method. Through Microsoft Authenticator, you can securely and seamlessly access the entire product and services from Microsoft without any necessity to log into each of them. There has been a recent update of the Microsoft Authenticator that allows the client to change the password, check the latest activity for all the Microsoft accounts, and update the security information. Check below the updates that have been released by Microsoft.

● The authenticator will send a notification regarding your security to the personal account of the user in Microsoft that will make it easier to manage the accounts.

● The UX of the accounts is redesigned in the Microsoft Authenticator.

● The clients can now view their every account in Microsoft on a full screen.

However, this update of Microsoft Authenticator is still not available for Azure AD. But Microsoft has announced that soon they will make the update available even for the Azure Active Directory clients as well. The date is not yet final, but hopefully, it will not belong. We would love to hear your views on this update in our comment section. Kindly write to us what you think about the update of the Microsoft Authenticator.
