Just climb atop the palace and you will come across picturesque views of the Lake Pichola and the City Palace.

 

Monsoon Palace

 

Comprising a grand architecture, this hilltop residence, which is also known as Sajjan Garh Palace, is strategically located and overlooks the serene Fateh sagar lake. From the palace you can get enchanting views of the lakes, palaces, the Aravallis and the exotic surroundings. What makes it even more special is the fact that the palace also featured in the James Bond film Octopussy.

 

Taj lake palace

 

A majestic hotel, Taj lake Palace is located on Jag Niwas island on Lake Pichola. The palace was built in 1746 by Maharana Jagat Singh II who named it Jag Niwas. The serene waters of Lake Pichola and the enchanting views of the Aravallis, City palace and jag Mandir make the Taj Lake Palace a perfect venue for pre-shoot weddings. Though it is a bit expensive, but worth every penny.
