Living In Croydon Isn’t The Experience You Think It Is

by Liz Seyi Digital marketing manager

One thing that must be admitted about Croydon – a large town that is also one of the key boroughs of south London is that it has not always enjoyed the most glamorous image. Indeed, there was a time when Croydon may have been considered by many London residents as merely a place to be passed through, rather than the place to be.

However, any perception that Living In Croydon is still a mundane experience is now many years out of date. The truth is that Croydon is rapidly becoming one of the English capital’s hippest areas, and those who have observed the ongoing pattern of property price rises in London will know what that means: now is the time to purchase a home in the borough.

A genuinely brilliant place to live – both then and now

It should be emphasised at this point that in so many ways, living in Croydon has always been a fabulous experience.

After all, Croydon residents benefit from superb connections to the rest of London, and very few Croydon residents are as strongly connected as those living in the prestigious 20-storey ISLAND development. They are a mere short stroll away from both East Croydon and West Croydon stations, which in turn effectively grant access to the many wonders of wider London and the whole of the UK.

Croydon is also a locality from which the resident can easily reach plentiful green space, enviable sporting facilities, sophisticated restaurants and captivating arts centres, theatres, galleries and museums. In short, Croydon has always been a destination, but it is now finally being recognised as such, even by those who may have previously been its greatest detractors.

Get in on the action, while you still can!

It’s difficult to know where to start when listing all of the amazing things about Croydon, including the exciting developments that are still on the way.

From BOXPARK with its shipping containers boasting artisan coffee places and delicious street food stalls, right through to the currently-being-revamped Fairfield Halls at which the Beatles have appeared, as well as the £1.4 billion Westfield shopping centre on which work will begin in 2019, so many cool and enthralling things are happening in Croydon.

However, as more and more people discover Croydon and its charms, affordable property in the borough is becoming increasingly scarce. With construction of ISLAND having only relatively recently finished, the tower only has a limited number of available penthouses and apartments remaining. Remember that once they’re gone, you may have forever missed your chance to live in this unashamedly luxurious and modern development.

So, don’t hesitate to register your interest in ISLAND now, while you still have the opportunity to rent or buy a comfortable, commodious and fully-featured home in this truly stunning development.
