Originally Chris belonged to a family of contractors and developers who were in the profession of construction and development. He started his construction business in the year 1985 and dealt only with government projects. He was never associated with projects of the private companies.

In order to satisfy his thirst to start up a business concept, which was never tried before, Chris got into the business of obtaining construction materials at a lesser cost. By being in direct touch with the suppliers of the raw materials for construction, Chris was able to get the construction materials at a very less cost, which also made him win many business bids for getting construction projects.

There are many businesses that Chris has been associated with. Some of them are listed below:-

·Firstly he opened up a construction company where he was doing only government projects.

·Then he became the cofounder of the Greek American Contractors Cooperative and opened up a business of getting less costly building raw materials, by directly getting in touch with suppliers. He started this in the year 1994.Getting involved in this business also helped him in winning many construction bids for his construction company.

·Then Chris laid his hands in the telecom sector. He founded the United Greek American Telephone Association where he helped people in calling up their friends or relatives in Greece at very less cost. Then the telecom sector fragmented, and the charges of calling Greece became as low as 35 cents. Then Chris got into the dotcom sector. With this Chris was able to send construction bids to their subscribers in their computers and pagers. He was doing very well in this sector before the sector went bust in 1999.

·Then he tried his hands in the franchisee business line. His was the first company to rent cooking oil filter machines to restaurants. However, some of his machine suppliers completely broke his trust and tried to prove him as a scammer.

Though there were several problems that he had to undertake in the field of business, the fact remains that it is impossible to stop a successful businessman from being successful. In spite of all the adversities faced, Chris still is and will be considered as one of the most successful businessman.
