Learn How You Can Manage Xfinity Email Settings Using My Account

You can change this email address to wherever you want to receive the alerts. Usually, comcast.net email is set as default, preferred address, users can anytime change this preferred email.

Add Your Personal Email Address

Follow the given steps to add a personal email address to your Xfinity account:

• First of all, you have to log in to My Account.
• At the top of the page, you will see the 'Users' tab. Click on it.
• Now, you have to select the user for which you need to add the email address.
• Go to the user page, and under ‘Personal Contact Information,’ select 'Edit' option, which is displayed next to the Additional email.
• It will open a new page, where you have to select 'Add a personal email address.' In case there is a personal address already associated with your username, select 'Remove’ option and start the instructions all over again.
• In the available text field, enter your email address and re-enter it for confirmation. Then, select the 'Add Email' option.
• You will receive a verification link to your address email address; validate it.

Note: This verification link is valid only for 72 hours and after that, the link gets expired.

• After verification, your new email address will get added successfully.

Set the Preferred Email Address

To set the personal email address to a preferred address, you have to add a second email address to your account first, using the above instructions. When you are done, follow the below instructions:

• First of all, log in to My Account.
• At the top of the page, you will see the 'Users' tab. Click on it.
• Here, you have to select the user for which you need to add the email address.
• Go to the user page, and under ‘Personal Contact Information,’ select 'Edit' option, which is available next to the Preferred email.
• Select 'Make this preferred' option to set the email as the preferred email address. Just next to your selection, it will display a green 'Preferred' indicator.
• This way, you can successfully set the preferred email address.
