In the treatment of breast cancer in postmenopausal women, Fulvestrant Injection 250mg is used, and its generic name is Fulvestrant. This medicine will limit the production of estrogen, which is responsible for the growth of cancer cells in the breast. This injection is given slowly to the buttock muscles by a healthcare expert. It is directed by your doctor, usually every two weeks for the first three doses and then monthly. Your doctor will decide the dose of the injection according to the age, weight, overall, and response to treatment.
