One of the best pleasures in the world is to have and drive clean and shiny car. But who can wax their car all the time? with limited time everyday and long work hours, its very difficult to take care of our car.

When paint is new, the clear coat is not damaged with ecessive sunlight or environment elements which is not visible to the eyes but will make the car paint look old and paint starts to fade away. One of the best ways to protect the car, especially when the paint is fresh and brand new is to install ceramic coating on it. Ceramic coating stronger than wax and last longer.

What is ceramic coating?

It's clear liquid and a nano technology thats been designed to bond to the paint. The protective coating with a molecular ceramic 3D structure of the best quality, currently available on a market, owes a 9H hardness certificate, which is an attestation that certifies the highest protection coverings endurance. As a result of the connection of molecules preparation on a painted surface in a tight web, it crystallizes and creates a resistant and durable protective layer. Ceramic coating once cured will form a hard shell over the paint which is completely invisible to the eyes, but will protect the paint against the everyday elements.

How do you apply ceramic coating?

This is the most important step in installing a ceramic coating properly, it is crucial that there is no protection on the paint and the surface is free from contaminations. Deep exterior cleaning with two bucket method is recommended to then move to chemical decontamination and lastly clay bar. If there is already a ceramic coating on the paint, then it needs to be polished to remove that before applying a new protection. Dont forget wiping dwn the panels with panel wipe to remove polishing oil. If the paint condition is good and free from scratches then its time to apply the coating on the paint. Some coatings have longer wipe time but you need to read the labels, make sure to use two or three method towels to remove and level the surface properly and not end up with high spot later. One final inspection is needed to around the car to make all the excess have been removed. Depending on the product, car need to stay indoor and dry for 4 to 24 hours for the intial cure time. There is also no chemical touch for the next 3 weeks after the installation.

What does ceramic coating doesnt protect against?

Deep scratches and stone chips. One of the main elements that have been damaging the front of the cars is stone chips. It makes the paint unpleasant to look at and is expensive to fix. ceramic coating doesnt stone that from happening but there is product called PPF ( paint protection film) or clear bra that will keep the paint in brand new shape while offering superior protection.
