by Luxtac Designing Lighting Automation
Automation is a revolution in a positive way for human beings. Automation is necessary in this modernized world in any sector, whether it is computer automation, lightning automation or automation of accounts. Automating things can save a lot of human time and energy. This is the golden age of technology, and making use of this technology will be of great advantage.

Smart home

Smart home automation is very much similar to the word smartphone. As cell phones changed to smartphones with the improving technology, the same was with homes changed to a smart home. Smart homes include devices, appliances and systems that are connected and can be controlled from anywhere. Lighting controls are the most essential part of smart homes. Smart homes and smart lightings can be beneficial in many ways. Smart lightings can help you personalize your lights according to your mood and uses.

Benefits of Lighting Automation

Control of lights: The lights in a smart home can be controlled from any place depending upon the power and signal. Home management becomes very easy. People who have villas and monumental houses with too many rooms can have their lighting controlled via one interface. An application on your smartphone can help you control all the electrical supply of your house. How useful it could be if you forget to switch off the air conditioner of your living room and you found that it is on in the application and you can switch it off instantly.

Natural-looking lights: If we go in the years before LED lights which were controlled manually, those lights had too much focus or too much paleness in the lights. Traditional lights were not natural looking lights that we have in today’s modern world.

Lights with sensors: Lighting automation which includes lights with sensors, is of utmost advantage in many large houses, flats, homes. Smart home with sensor lights is mainly used in passageways of homes and houses. For instance, when you walk through your passage, the lights will automatically get switched on, and when you walk away, the lights will get switched off automatically.

Scheduling time: Lighting control’s best advantage is that you can set timers and schedule the timing of lights according to your comfort. If you want your gardens and doorstep lights on after sunset at 6 pm, you can do this task when you have a smart home or automated lights connected to your phone or tablet. Scheduling the time of lights can be important for kids as well if you want lights to be switched off of your child’s room at a specific time.

Elegant look: Smart homes do not have wires in every corner of the house like traditional houses. Fewer wires will reflect a nice, clean and sleek house. Smart homes will have the latest technologies in them. A smarter home will also lead to lesser electricity consumption.

Reduction of risk: Automated electric lights will have lesser wires which will lead to more inferior buttons, and ultimately it will reduce the risk factor of any kind of accident happening. Sometimes the wires get cut out; hence kids or any other person can get into an accident. The smart home has electric appliances which are shockproof as well, and this can be a great advantage for the safety of kids and senior citizens.
