Import Export Data shows that India’s trade deficit from April 2020 to February 2021 was 84.62 billion USD. In February 2021 India had a trade deficit was 12.62 billion USD. The maximum trade deficit in December 2020 was 15.44 billion USD. India had a trade surplus in June 2020 of 790 million USD.
 
As per export import data, India’s biggest trade partners are:-

  • Saudi Arabia
  • Iraq
China overtook the US to become India’s largest trade partner with the bilateral trade between the two countries is 77.7 billion USD. 
 
Indian Export Data shows the overall export of commodities in FY 20-21 till February 2021 was 256.18 billion USD. India exported goods worth 26.67 billion USD in February 2021. Exports fell by 0.25% with the fear of the second wave of the Coronavirus. In February non-petroleum exports were 25.16 billion USD. The total export for non-petroleum and non-gems products for the FY 20-21 was 219.22 billion USD.
 
Indian import data shows that India imported commodities worth 340.8 billion USD in the first eleven months of FY 20-21. In February India recorded imports of 40.55 billion USD. In February 2021 oil imports were 10.78 billion USD. The total imports for non-oil products in the first eleven months of FY 20-21was 268.78 billion USD.
