by Pooja Chauhan Freelance Professional

The most important thing in our life is electricity. It is used in many things in our life. It turns on our computers. It charges our mobile phones. The role of any electrician is to connect the electric current into houses, offices and factories. The electrician must have the skill of being certified electrician toronto. To be an electrician, it is a very difficult and dangerous job.

Electrical Injuries

A lot of toronto electrician exposed to shock from the electric wire through their daily lives. They shocked after touching a naked wire of any device. After the shock, the toronto electrician forget it and continue his work through few minutes. The tools allow a few amount of voltage to go through the wire. If the toronto electrician is exposed to the voltage for a long time, it is so dangerous. The high voltage causes bad effects and bad consequences.

When toronto electrician’s skin touches the source of the electrical energy, It flows within the skin as the water consider one of its conductors. The body of any man consists of 70% water. This amount of water contributes the reaction between body and electric.

The electric current may turns into heat. This causes burns which is so dangerous and painful for toronto electrician and serious injuries.

Electrical Burns

The burn may happen as a result of the four factors of electricity:

1.        Resistance

2.        Voltage

3.        current

4.        Frequency

There are different kinds of burns. It can change depending on the way that the current go through the body of toronto electrician.

·         A burn that happens due to low- voltage. The electrician may exposes to the voltage for a long time.

·         A burn that happens due to high- voltage. The electrician exposes to the electric directly without any resistance. This burn may cause damage to the underlying tissue not the surface of the skin.

·         There is another burn which is called Arc Burn. In this burn the skin does not contact with the source of the electric, but the electricity go within the air and it makes its own circuit. After this process, the heat is increased up to 4000 degrees Celsius. In this case the clothes of the electrician may catch the fire.

The current may send signals that are typically the same signals of nature as the nerve cell may send signals to the muscle and it may lead to contract. In this case once the electrician contact with the electricity, he could not far away from the source of the electricity, as all his muscles are paralyzed. This points that the nerves that related to circulatory system and the respiratory system could not do its job and this may lead to the lack in breath.

These all the risks that face the electrician face in his everyday life.
