How to troubleshoot Silk Browser Issues on Amazon Kindle?

The Kindle Fire line-up has stood a success story for Amazon. It all started with the unique Kindle Fire, but Amazon has overhauled and upgraded its Android providing’s since then. With the most recent Fire tablets, Amazon has dropped the Kindle name altogether.
Silk Browser won’t open
If the word Web is greyed out on the Home, Screen of your Kindle Fire, Parental Controls may be restricting access, enabled to the Silk web browser. 
To switch off Parental Controls, click on the option of Quick Settings icon, then Parental Controls. 
Slide the switch next to Parental Controls to the off position; you’ll be prompted to enter your password. 
Try restarting your device and then press and hold the power button for 40 seconds and then release. 
After your Kindle Fire has completely switched off, plug it in using the power adapter, then press the power button again. 
Try clearing app data, from the Home screen, click on the option of Quick Settings icon, and then Applications. 
Click on the Browser, and then have a click on the Clear Data button. 
Try deregistering and, then registering the device again. 
Click on the option of Quick Settings icon, and then on My Account. 
Click on the deregistering button again to confirm, then the Register button and follow the onscreen instructions to register your device using your Amazon account email and password. 
Download Errors or Issues
You can revisit your downloads by clicking on the Menu from the options bar at the bottom of the screen while looking, and then choose Downloads. Additionally, you can access your downloads over the Gallery app. Click on the Gallery app icon and then on the option of Downloads to view images and videos you downloaded using the Amazon Silk web browser.
Issue or Error with a Website
To change the default view settings, click on the Menu button at the bottom of the screen, and then on Settings. Click on the mobile or desktop view. Choose that whether you’d like Amazon Silk to automatically optimize how each website is viewed, to optimize for mobile view or to optimize for desktop view.
Problems with Amazon Silk Features
Not all web pages are well-matched with Reading View. If the reading glasses icon is exhibited but you are unable to view the page in Reading View, try force stopping the Amazon Silk web browser. To force stop the browser, first have a click on the Quick Settings icon at the top of the screen. Click on the option of more icons and then choose the option of Applications. Ensure that the filter is set to All Applications and choose the option of Browser. Click on the Force Stop button and then on the return to the Home screen and click on Web to launch the Amazon Silk web browser again. 
Reopen the web page and try clicking on the Reading View icon. If the reading glasses icon is visible but you still can’t open the page in Reading View, you can reach Kindle Customer Support by phone or by chat directly.
