How to solve Driver Power State Failure on Windows 10?

Driver Power State Failure is an error message which appears on a blue screen on Windows operating system. It is mostly founded in Windows 10 and there can be several reasons why this error message is showing up in your equipment. In most cases, it happens due to misconfigured power settings and software glitches with the power settings. Method 1: Disable the Power Saving

1.       Head to the Start Menu by tapping the Windows logo button from the lower-left corner. 

2.       Type Control Panel in the start menu and then open it by clicking on its icon from results. 

3.       There you have to choose the View by as Small icons and then find and click on Power Options. 

4.       Choose the Balanced plan. 

5.       Now tap the Change the settings link. 

6.       Press on Change advanced power settings. Browse Wireless Adapter Settings. 

7.       Then browse Power Saving Mode. 

8.       Now choose Maximum Performance. 

9.       After that, browse PCI Express and then head to Link State Power Management. 

10.   Switch the settings by choosing Maximum power saving. 

11.   Apply the changes and then press OK. 

12.   Restart the equipment. 

Method 2: Remove the Problematic Drivers 

See these instructions to solve the issue via erasing the bad and corrupted drivers form your computer:

1.       Open the Device Manager with admin privileges. 

2.       In the Device Manager window, expand all devices one by one and then see if there any yellow caution mark on any drivers. 

3.       If there is any driver with yellow caution, then you will have to uninstall them. 

4.       Once all bad drivers are removed, close the wizard and then reboot the device. 

Method 3: Running Windows Update

Windows Update is the ultimate solution to fix the Driver Power State Failure issue on Windows 10. It will download and install necessary and missing system drivers on your device automatically. You will require a powerful network connection in order to get better results since the utility will eat up a lot of data. If you use a slow network to download Windows Update, then you will end up with the slow downloading speed, and most of the updates won’t be downloaded due to technical and network issues.
