How to Manage Unusual Traffic Detected Notifications?

Several people receive a notification that states– ‘Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network while operating Google. The purpose of this page is to check whether it is really you who is sending the requests, and not a robot.

Method 1: Turn off your Proxy or VPN

If you want to patch up the issue, then you can follow the provided steps.

  1. Firstly, launch the Settings application.
  2. Then, press on Proxy. It will be under Network and Internet.
  3. After that, go to the right-hand part of the window, and ensure that ‘Use a proxy server’ is turned off.
  4. Next, enable ‘Automatically detect settings’ with the help of the switch.

  3. Then, visit the Connections option.
  4. After that, press on the LAN settings option.
  5. Next, turn off the option that states ‘Use a proxy server for your LAN’ with the help of clearing the square present beside it.
  6. Then, save the change that you have made.
  7. After that, you need to exit the window.

Method 3: Turn off Conflicting Browser Extensions

For Chrome users-

  1. Firstly, open the Chrome browser.
  2. Then, visit the URL bar.
  3. After that, write ‘chrome://extensions.’
  4. Next, tap on Enter.
  5. Then, you will be able to delete or turn off the conflicting browser extensions that you feel is creating the problem.

For Firefox users-

  1. Firstly, go to Mozilla Firefox.
  2. Then, visit the menu option.
  3. Next, tap on Add-ons.
  4. After that, tap on ‘Extensions.’
  5. Lastly, delete the ones you feel are creating the problem.

Method 4: Remove suspicious programs or use the Chrome Cleanup Tool

  1. Firstly, go to the Settings application.
  2. Then, visit the ‘Apps.’
  3. Next, press on ‘Apps and features.’
  4. After that, search the program that you wish to delete.
  5. Choose it and press on the Uninstall option.
  6. Then, restart the device.
  7. Lastly, check that whether your problem has been fixed or not.
